Wicks and Co. is currently looking for a Livestock Assistant to join their team.

We are a privately owned Livestock and Real Estate Agency located at Murgon, in the South Burnett Region of Queensland. Wicks and Co. conduct fortnightly Fat & Store Sales at the Murgon Sale Yards, private consignments direct to processors and feedlots, paddock sales, stud stock sales, real estate sales and clearing sales.

About the Role.

Reporting to the Manager, the Livestock Assistant will play an important role in assisting with all duties related to the sale of livestock.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Handle livestock, including the drafting and penning up of cattle for sales

• Clerking on sale day

• Marketing of livestock

• Developing client relationships

About you.

• Experience in livestock handling is essential

• Basic administration skills

• Car License essential

• Salesperson License or willing to obtain
